Services
I work with a small number of clients at a time, including fintech companies, AI startups, Web3 projects, and sports-tech ventures, on the commercial and talent challenges that matter most.
Engagements are hands-on: I'm in the room, at the conference, and on the ground in the markets that matter to you.
Think of it as having a Sherpa who has already crossed the terrain you're about to enter. My work sits at the intersection of three areas, and the most interesting engagements tend to draw on all three.

Partnerships and Business Development
The best deals come from the right relationships, built before you need them. I maintain an active network across the US tech and finance ecosystem — quant funds, crypto protocols, VC firms, sports-tech ventures — and across Southeast Asia and Greater China, where I have on-the-ground presence and years of prior operating experience.
I help clients identify the right strategic partners, structure commercial conversations, and close deals that would otherwise take years to develop independently. I'm comfortable representing your company at industry events, running warm introduction campaigns, and staying in the room through negotiation.
What this looks like in practice
Identifying and approaching strategic partners in new markets
Structuring and negotiating sponsorship and commercial deals
Representing clients at key industry conferences (Token2049, ETH Denver, EthCC, SF / HK / SG Fintech Week, GDC, and others)
Building warm introduction pipelines to investors, partners, and distribution channels
Go-to-market support for companies entering the US, Singapore, or Greater China
Corporate training and capability building
Many of the same relationships that drive partnerships also surface a related need: helping teams understand the technology reshaping their industry. I work with a small network of expert instructors, including engineers and data scientists from leading tech companies, to design and deliver practical training on AI, data science, and analytics for corporate teams. This isn't off-the-shelf courseware. It starts with a conversation about your team's actual knowledge gaps, then we build something that connects classroom concepts to your real business challenges.
Past sessions include statistics for machine learning with Sephora Asia's analytics team and advanced SQL for a business intelligence team. If your company is trying to get a practical grip on AI-driven change, get in touch.
Fundraising and Market Entry
Raising capital and entering new markets are both relationship games — and both require someone who knows the landscape from the inside. I've spent years operating across the US and Asia, recruiting for and advising companies at every stage from seed-stage crypto projects to established quant trading firms.
For fundraising, I help fintech and Web3 companies sharpen their pitch, identify the right investors on both sides of the Pacific, and get in front of them through warm intros rather than cold outreach. For market entry, I help you understand what's actually different about a new geography, including the regulatory environment, the competitive dynamics, the talent market, and the right local partners, before you commit resources.
What this looks like in practice
Investor identification and warm introduction across US, Singapore, and Hong Kong networks
Pitch preparation and narrative sharpening for cross-border audiences
Market entry scoping for companies expanding between the US and Asia
Regulatory and competitive landscape orientation for new geographies
Local partner identification and introductions in target markets
Currently supporting 3 fintech companies with fundraising and biz dev. Selectively taking on new engagements
Strategic Recruiting
Most recruiting fails because the recruiter doesn't actually understand the role. I've worked as a software engineer, been embedded inside quant trading firms, and recruited across AI research labs, crypto exchanges, and VC-backed startups. That means I can have a real conversation with a quant developer or a staff-level SRE — not just match keywords on a resume.
I work on a retained or embedded (RPO) basis for senior and specialist roles where the standard contingency model breaks down: roles that are hard to define, hard to source for, or where the wrong hire is genuinely costly. I maintain candidate networks in NYC, the SF Bay Area, and Singapore, supplemented by direct sourcing from industry conferences and university pipelines.
What this looks like in practice
Retained search for senior engineering, quant, and commercial roles
Embedded (RPO) recruiting partnerships for team ramp-ups
Specialist sourcing in quant finance, AI/ML, and crypto/Web3
Cross-border hiring across US, Singapore, Hong Kong, and SE Asia
Work visa navigation and compensation benchmarking for international hires
Conference and campus pipeline development
